The MarTech Specialist – Digital Marketing is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining technology- and AI-driven workflows that power our marketing operations. This role focuses on using marketing tools, automation, and AI to support and optimize paid advertising, social media content creation and distribution, performance analysis and reporting, and programmatic SEO at scale.

The ideal candidate understands both digital marketing and marketing technology and can translate marketing objectives into smart, automated systems that increase efficiency, improve performance, and unlock new growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ads Operations & Optimization

  • Build and maintain automation and AI-assisted workflows for campaign setup, QA, and ongoing optimization across channels (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic).
  • Automate routine tasks such as budget pacing checks, bid and audience adjustments, creative testing cycles, and anomaly detection.
  • Configure systems that generate suggested optimizations (e.g., pause underperforming ads, scale winning creatives, refine audiences) for marketer review and approval.
  • Set up performance monitors and alerts for KPI drops, tracking issues, or platform policy violations.

2. Social Media Content Creation & Distribution

  • Use MarTech and AI tools to generate on-brand content ideas, captions, hooks, and variations for key platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Build workflows to repurpose long-form content (blogs, videos, emails) into short-form and multi-platform assets.
  • Help automate content calendars, posting schedules, and basic community management summaries (e.g., sentiment, FAQs, recurring themes).
  • Maintain brand voice and quality by designing prompt libraries, brand guardrails, and review loops for AI-assisted content.

3. Analysis, Reporting & Insights

  • Connect and orchestrate data flows between ad platforms, analytics tools, and CRM to create clean, structured datasets and dashboards.
  • Automate weekly/monthly performance reports, highlighting trends, winners/losers, and actionable recommendations.
  • Use AI and analytics tools to surface deeper insights (e.g., creative performance patterns, funnel drop-offs, audience behavior).
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to define KPIs and ensure reporting answers real business and revenue questions.

4. Programmatic SEO & Content Scaling

  • Build workflows to research keywords, cluster topics, and propose SEO content structures at scale.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to generate first drafts for SEO pages (e.g., location pages, templates, FAQs, comparison pages) based on defined guidelines.
  • Work with SEO and content leads to implement internal linking patterns, on-page optimization rules, and quality review processes for programmatic content.
  • Track the performance of programmatically created pages and refine logic, prompts, and templates based on results.

5. Operational Enablement & Governance

  • Document all MarTech stacks, workflows, prompts, and integrations in a clear, repeatable format.
  • Train marketing team members on how to use tools, automations, and AI features in their daily work.
  • Ensure quality, compliance, and data privacy standards are followed across all marketing systems and automations.
  • Regularly review and optimize existing workflows to improve reliability, performance, and scalability.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

1. Technical & Marketing Knowledge

  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing: paid ads, social media, SEO, analytics, funnels, and basic CRO.
  • Practical knowledge of marketing technology and automation tools (e.g., AI content tools, Make/Zapier/n8n, CDPs, CRM, tag managers).
  • Ability to integrate and orchestrate tools like Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Looker/Data Studio, CRM, and social scheduling platforms.
  • Bonus: basic scripting (Python/JavaScript), experience with programmatic SEO setups, or working with APIs/webhooks.

2. Communication & Organization

  • Strong written communication skills to refine and quality-check AI-assisted and tool-generated output into clear, on-brand messaging.
  • Highly organized with a structured approach to documenting systems, workflows, and playbooks.
  • Able to translate marketing goals into clear technical requirements and explain setups to non-technical teammates.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving marketing environment.

3. Behavioral & Personal Attributes

  • Curious and proactive about new MarTech and AI capabilities and how they can improve workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset: enjoys mapping processes, finding inefficiencies, and designing smarter systems.
  • Ownership-driven and detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy, brand safety, and performance outcomes.
  • Adaptable and experimental: open to testing, learning, and iterating as tools and platforms evolve.
  • Ethical and responsible with data usage, privacy, and transparency in all marketing technologies.
