Committed to sustainable development, Ubud has set up a new waste sorting program. We provide you with three garbage cans (organic, non-organic, residual).

• Organic waste: Food scraps, twigs, leaves, fruit, vegetables and anything else that decomposes naturally. Please ensure that this bin contains no plastic. Collection: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
• Non-organic waste: Recycle all your bottles, plastics, paper and cardboard. Collection: Tuesdays and Saturdays.
• Residual waste: This includes disposable hygiene products, hazardous materials, construction debris and non-recyclable plastics. Collection: Thursdays and Sundays.
