Full-time Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all daily and seasonal gardening tasks, including weeding, mulching, raking, sweeping, and maintaining cleanliness of all garden beds, paths, and hardscaping.
- Execute precision trimming and pruning of hedges, shrubs, and ornamental trees to maintain specified shapes and ensure plant health.
- Independently manage and execute specialized tasks such as transplanting, grafting, and propagation as needed.
- Develop and implement appropriate watering schedules and irrigation maintenance routines for different plant species and weather conditions.
- Proactively inspect plants for signs of pests, diseases, or deficiencies; diagnose issues, and apply appropriate, safe, and regulated treatments (e.g., organic pesticides, fungicides, fertilizers).
- Manage and maintain soil health through proper testing, aeration, and amendment application.
- Operate and perform basic routine maintenance (cleaning, sharpening, lubrication) on all gardening machinery, including mowers, trimmers, hedge cutters, and leaf blowers.
- Ensure the safe storage and inventory management of all tools, chemicals, and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification or formal training in Horticulture, Landscaping, or Agriculture is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years of proven experience as a Gardener or Landscaper, preferably within a high-end resort, villa, or private estate setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform continuous, physically demanding tasks, work effectively outdoors in all weather, and safely lift and move heavy materials.
