The Villa Host is the face of the villa and plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, coordinating their needs, assisting with check-in/out processes, and ensuring that every stay is smooth, personalized, and memorable. The ideal candidate is warm, attentive, highly service-oriented, and has strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services & Experience
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with professionalism and warmth.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide detailed villa tours and explain amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest requests, special needs, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Offer concierge support such as activity bookings, transportation arrangements, and dining recommendations.
Villa Presentation & Coordination
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure villas are clean, well-maintained, and guest-ready.
- Conduct regular villa checks to ensure high standards are upheld before guest arrivals and during stays.
- Monitor villa inventory (e.g., toiletries, refreshments) and report replenishment needs.
Operational Support
- Prepare welcome amenities, guest documents, and personalized notes.
- Ensure all guest communications (before, during, and after the stay) are timely and professional.
- Update internal systems and guest logs accurately for operations and reporting.
- Liaise with the central office and other departments to ensure smooth coordination.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in front office, guest relations, or butler/villa host roles, preferably in luxury hospitality.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages (especially Indonesian or Mandarin) are a plus.
- Familiarity with hospitality software or PMS (e.g., Cloudbeds, Little Hotelier, Opera) is preferred.
